Proficient

25分

A band score of at least seven (7) on each of the four (4) components – speaking, reading, listening and writing of the IELTS test or evidence of having taken and achieved a score of `B´ or higher on each of the four components of the OET test.

Competent

15分:基本标准

A band score of at least six (6) on each of the four (4) components – speaking, reading, listening and writing of the IELTS test.

Concessional Competent

15分:475亲属担保类可以用

An average band score of at least five and a half (5.5) based on all four (4) components – speaking, reading, listening and writing of the IELTS test.

Vocational

15分:只有技工类用

A band score of at least five (5) on each of the four (4) components – speaking, reading, listening, and writing of the IELTS test.

Functional

生活交流英语 Functional English 总分4.5分以上,无单项要求(副申请人免费标准)

An average band score of at least 4.5 based on all four (4) components – speaking, reading, listening, and writing of the IELTS test.

Level of English

Evidence required

Proficient

You must provide one of the following:

·                            IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) Number to show you have a band score of at least seven (7) on each of the four (4) components ,or

·            evidence of having achieved a score of `B´ or higher on each of the four (4) components of the OET test.

Competent

You must provide one of the following:

·                            evidence that you hold an eligible passport

·                            IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least six (6) on each of the four (4) components

·                            evidence of having achieved a score of `B´ or higher on each of the four (4) components of the OET test.

Concessional Competent

You must provide all of the following:

·                            your IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) Number to show you have an average band score of at least five and a half (5.5) based on all four (4) components

·                            evidence that you have enrolled and paid the fee for suitable English language training in the relevant State or Territory where you have received State or Territory nomination or where your sponsor resides

Vocational

You must provide your IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least five (5) on each of the four (4) components

Functional

You must provide one of the following:

·                            your IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least four and a half (4.5) based on all four (4) components

·                            evidence that you have a degree, diploma or trade qualification requiring at least two (2) years of full time study or training with all instruction conducted in English

·                            evidence that you have completed at least one (1) year of full time study in Australia towards a degree or diploma qualification with all instruction conducted in English

·                            evidence that you have completed:

o                                               your primary education and at least three (3) years of secondary education
or

o                                               at least five (5) years of secondary education

at an educational institution where all instruction was conducted in English.
