交上PVA之后，是不是就只能被动地等死？

当然不是，你应当用各种办法查询进度。我的方法是用电子邮件。

我26号给大使馆发了电子邮件，询问他们我的申请情况（用中文写的）。299日上午澳大利亚大使馆给我回了一封信。内容如下：

>Please write to us in English,our system can not read your message below.今天我下午14点给大使馆回了一封信，内容如下：

Dear Sir:

My name is XXX XXX XXX. I was born in XX XX XXXXX in XXXX.

I graduated from XXXX Uinversity and got Bachelor Degree in this year.

I applied for Master Business (Professional Accounting) of RMITUniversity. And I am going to enter RMIT University in March ,2002.

I sent the mony for visa (RMB 1340) from XXXX in Aug.4,2001.However,my PVA data was sent by Wuhan RMIT University in Sep.17,2001.( I entrust Wuhan RMIT University to deal with the thing.)Because the interal of the two dates is so long that I am afraid you will be confused, I have to tell you the details.

By the way, can you tell me if you have received my PVA data? And can you tell me my file number?

下午16点大使馆给我回信如下：

XXX XXX XXX’S file no:12/61**

我终于得到了FN。虽然号大点（12/61**），但据我所知，现在大使馆已经审查到12/38**了。按每月审查1000号，审查到我的FN时需要2个半月，也就是说12月底就可以审查到我。今天非常高兴！没有得到FN号的学友也可以用这种办法。我的FN还没有收到（因为过节的原因，我没有去单位取）。
